These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MCA | My Care Aide website and platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
1. Overview of the Platform
MCA | My Care Aide is a marketplace that connects families with independent caregivers. MCA does not employ caregivers and is not responsible for the services they provide. Caregivers operate independently and are responsible for their own conduct, availability, and service delivery.
2. Eligibility
To use the MCA platform, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements. Caregivers must meet MCA’s verification standards, including identity verification, criminal record checks, and certification review.
3. Caregiver Responsibilities
Caregivers listed on MCA agree to provide accurate information, maintain up‑to‑date credentials, and deliver services professionally. Caregivers are responsible for their own schedules, rates, communication, and conduct. MCA is not liable for caregiver actions, omissions, or service outcomes.
4. Family Responsibilities
Families using MCA agree to communicate respectfully, provide accurate care needs, and engage caregivers in a safe and lawful manner. Families are responsible for verifying that a caregiver meets their personal requirements before booking services.
5. Verification and Safety
MCA conducts identity verification, criminal record checks, and credential review for caregivers. These checks support platform safety but do not guarantee suitability for every family. Families should perform their own due diligence before hiring a caregiver.
6. Payments and Fees
Subscription fees, connection fees, or other platform charges are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated. Caregivers set their own service rates. MCA is not responsible for payment disputes between caregivers and families.
7. User Accounts
Users must keep their account information accurate and secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. MCA may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or compromise platform safety.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not engage in:
- Fraudulent or misleading behavior
- Harassment, abuse, or discrimination
- Sharing false credentials or documents
- Illegal activities
- Attempting to bypass MCA’s platform or fees
- Uploading harmful or inappropriate content
Violations may result in account removal.
9. Limitation of Liability
MCA provides a connection platform and is not responsible for the actions, performance, or conduct of caregivers or families. MCA is not liable for damages, losses, or disputes arising from interactions or services arranged through the platform.
10. Privacy
Your use of MCA is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.
11. Third‑Party Services
MCA may use third‑party tools for payments, verification, or website functionality. MCA is not responsible for the policies or actions of third‑party providers.
